An aspiring artist and author

Just when I thought that I would be able to finally use my iPhone 3G S, another problem crops up. I have been able to use the phone fine but when I tried to sync it with my computer, iTunes refuses to recognise the device. I’m running Windows XP Professional 64 bit and I know that the OS is not supported by iTunes. However, I have been able to install it. For some reasons, the latest iTunes 9 does not install properly on Windows XP 64 bit.

It is annoying. I refuse to upgrade to Windows Vista because I prefer the performance of Windows XP. Vista is just too much of a hassle for me. iTunes worked with iPhone 3G S until the latest version was released. It seems to have problems on other OS as well!

I sat here trying to find a solution last night until I dozed off at my desk. I have yet to find a solution and have given up trying to sync iPhone with my desktop. Instead, I used my brother’s laptop, which runs on Vista 32 bit, to sync just to get music on the phone. I need my daily dose of X Japan, Ayumi Hamasaki and Mika Nakashima for the 2 hour journey to and from work.
