Gundam Fiesta Singapore 2009 – Down memory lane
There was a section that brings you through the history of the Gundam anime series. The series in the franchise were arranged according to the chronological order in which they were aired. The lead Gundam from each series were featured.
The original Gundam, the RX-78, from Mobile Suit Gundam (1980).
Zeta Gundam from Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam (1985).
ZZ Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ (1987).
Nu Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam: Char’s Counterattack (1988).
Gundam Alex from Mobile Suit Gundam 0080 – War in the Pocket (1989).
Gundam F91 from Mobile Suit Gundam F91 (1991).
The picture above is not well focussed. I didn’t notice it while shooting so there isn’t much I can do about it. If I did, I would have tried manual focus or decreased the aperture size.
Gundam “Zephyranthes” aka GP01 from Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory
Victory 2 Gundam from Mobile Suit Victory Gundam (1993).
God Gundam from Mobile Fighter G Gundam (1995).
Gundam X Divider from Mobile Suit Gundam X (1996).
Gundam Wing Zero Custom from New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz (1997). I like how this shot turned out.
Gundam Ez8 from Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team (1998).
Turn A Gundam from its namesake series (1999).
I have to confess that I have not watched every single Gundam series. However, being the self-professed die-hard fan, I shall attempt to do so. An advanced new year resolution for 2011.
